Superyacht Base Gold Coast City is a conglomerate of 50 companies servicing the global superyacht market.  The group works collaboratively to attract to their city international superyachts where those vessels can experience Australia’s Glamour City as well as engage the services of the group.  The breadth and depth of services available is immense.

Within the services and capabilities of the 50 companies involved in Superyacht Base Gold Coast City, a visiting superyacht can

  • Get a new aluminium or steel superstructure fabricated;
  • Hire a berth in the heart of the city’s nightlife and aquatic playground;
  • Find a new crew member;
  • Complete electrical and electronic work;
  • Service their engines or indeed buy new ones;
  • Charter the vessel or indeed, buy a new one;
  • Refurbish the deck, buy specialist marine refrigeration or make over the lighting;
  • Repaint the interior, exterior or hull;
  • Complete a major refit;
  • Haul the vessel out of the water;
  • Access lawyers, stockbrokers, florists, travel agents and limousines;
  • Service or purchase a tender;
  • Stock up on fresh food, stores and consumable items;
  • Redesign the interior with specialist designers; and
  • Organise the delivery of the vessel to the next location either on its own bottom or as cargo.

Southport Yacht Club

One of the oldest and largest marinas on the Gold Coast, Southport Yacht Club has its marina facilities on the most southern end of the Broadwater.  A hive of competitive and recreational sailing and power boating, the Southport Yacht Club’s marina also has services and facilities for visiting superyachts with over 300 berths and 7 superyacht berths over 85ft.

Gold Coast City Marina and Shipyard
