In Western Australia you can dive with the whale shark - the world’s largest fish, fish for Barramundi, Mangrove Jack and Spanish Mackerel, dine on mud crabs and juicy oysters, drink superb wines, sleep under a canopy of stars in the desert or explore the gorges and wilderness areas.

Perth, Western Australia’s capital, sits beside the Swan River, as does the neighbouring port city of Fremantle, at the mouth of the Swan has beautiful beaches, plenty of nightlife, bustling markets, inner city parks, outdoor dining and amazing marine adventures.

Far North Western Australia features rugged ranges with spectacular gorges, mighty river systems, thundering waterfalls and vast plain surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, plus an astonishing variety of wildlife including crocodiles, sharks & giant turtles, birdlife and plant species.

The Kimberley is famous for its rugged and picturesque gorges and its twelve metre tides with the Kimberley landscape used as a canvas by Aboriginal artists for the last 40,000 years. The Nullarbor Plain from Border Village to Ceduna features the legendary surf at Cactus Beach, the Nullarbor National Park, whale watching at Head of Bight, the Great Australian Bight Marine Park whale breeding ground. Ceduna, the end of the Nullarbor trek, has fabulous seafood and great beaches. see migrating whales at Cape Carnot (Whalers Way), fur seals at Cape Wiles & tuna farms at Port Lincoln.

The south-west corner of Western Australia features dazzling beaches, spectacular forests and one of the world’s great winemaking regions. Noted for intense chardonnays, rich semillons, robust cabernets & soft merlots, Margaret River, a pleasant three-hour drive south of Perth, boasts a perfect Mediterranean maritime climate.
